Contest Rules
- PHOTOS MUST BE UNIQUELY IDENTIFIABLE AS DENNIS, MASSACHUSETTS
i.e. Scargo Tower, Seaview Park, etc. — no birds in flight or bunnies in gardens. - No previous submissions
- Each person limited to three (3) entries.
- Black & White or Color photos accepted.
- Each photograph (excluding the mat frame board) must have one dimension of at least 8″ (6×9, 8×10, etc.) not to exceed 11″ x 14″ mat.
- All prints should be mounted with a mat board surround and NOT framed in glass.
- Only photos taken after January 1, 2010 are eligible.
- Photos will be judged on composition, general appeal, and technical merit.
- No late entries will be accepted. No exceptions.
- Limit of one prize per contestant.
Deliver entries to:
Dennis Town Hall, 8:30am to 4:00pm starting
Monday, May 14th, 2012 through Friday, May 18th
Exhibit of entries will be at:
Dennis Public Library, 5 Hall Street, Dennisport from
Saturday, May 19th, 2012 through Friday, June 1st
Reception and Awards: Wednesday, May 30, 2012, 6pm to 8pm
Photos may be picked up after the exhibit at the Dennis Public Library on
Saturday, June 2, 2012. All entries must be removed Saturday, June 2, 2012.
Please download the entry submission form (jpeg, front and back) and affix the form to the back of the mat.

And the following statement:
“I give my permission for this photo to be published in newspapers, town documents, or displayed in Town Buildings at the Cultural Council’s discretion. I understand no profit will be made from this photo (except by me) and no fee will be paid to the photographer (other than prize money). I understand that the DACC will do its best to protect this property, but will not hold the DACC liable in case of loss, theft, damage, etc. Photos not picked up within 7 days after the end of the exhibit shall become the property of the DACC.”
